Anxious Angela

Crying Sky

Alone in the park
Just the dog and I
Trees sway violently
While crows circle high
A train on the viaduct
Goes clattering by
Wind swirling leaves
Collar up with a sigh
The café barista
Catches my eye
In a phone halo glow
As he checks on the sly
Time to head home
I need to get dry
Icy water running
Down the back of my thigh
As an electric car
Glides silently by
The teardrops descend
From the dark crying sky
